Islands of Brilliance Sandbox@ Sherman Phoenix

Islands of Brilliance (IOB) is a nonprofit organization that is pioneering the use of art creativity and creative technologies to spur self-confidence independence and pathways to employment for autistic individuals.

Our programming rooted in art design and STEaM-based curriculum helps children and young adults on the autism spectrum learn valuable technical skills while practicing critical social and emotional learning competencies in a supported environment.

Sandbox@ introduces autistic students and their families to IOB's in-person versions of our three virtual Sandbox programs.

Participants will have the chance to learn create and connect with other students in a safe and supportive environment through art storytelling and STEaM-based projects. Each workshop is 90 minutes but we have a hunch it will go by in the blink of an eye as we've got an action-packed schedule.
