Yes this is our 250th show since moving to Baba's Lounge in January 2016!! Dan Rowswell with Ian Toms guitar, Christopher Martell acoustic bass and Mat MacEachern drums performing tunes by Freddie Hubbard, Branford Marsalis, Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheny, Bill Frisell, Duke Ellington, Coltrane, Daniel Lanois and more. It's a highlight reel of some of our favourites from our shows this past year at Baba's Lounge.
Winner of the Music PEI Award in 2020 for Live Music Programming and nominated for a 2019 ECMA for Event of the Year, Island Jazz is a weekly series at Baba's Lounge featuring top local musicians performing original music, standards, jazz and pop favourites, always featuring live improvisation, with a different featured group each week.
Two sets starting at 8pm, donations at the door. Island Jazz at Baba's Lounge every Thursday night all year round.
