The highly anticipated 35th Annual Islamic Women’s Council of New Zealand National Conference will take place from the evening of 15 May 2026 to 1:00pm on 17th of May 2026, bringing together Muslim women from across the country for three days of inspiration, connection and upliftment. This year’s theme, “Breaking Barriers – Women Leading with Faith and Purpose,” dives into the strength, perseverance, and leadership of Muslim women in every aspect of their lives. The programme will explore how faith serves as a powerful foundation, guiding women to navigate challenges with clarity, resilience, and spiritual grounding. It will also highlight the countless ways women break barriers both personally, professionally, and within wider society by demonstrating courage, determination, and unwavering belief in their values.

Throughout the weekend, attendees will experience a diverse range of uplifting workshops, thought-provoking talks, and engaging activities. The conference aims to inspire women to lead with intention, make meaningful contributions to their communities, and uplift others through their actions and example.
