Join us at the School of Sufi Teaching for a rare opportunity to learn Islamic calligraphy with master calligrapher Citi J Yousoff who is with us briefly from Malaysia.

The class is focussed on those who want to learn the Nashk and Thuluth Scripts. Students can come at all levels , however new students who have not done any Islamic calligraphy will be taught the Riq’a script first. The teacher will assess each student.

Online classes with Citi will be offered for those wishing to continue their calligraphy journey.

Tea and refreshments will be served during the break. The event will be followed by an optional silent Sufi meditation.

All equipment will be provided.

Citi J. Yousoff is a Calligraphy master who was a personal student of the great Ottoman Calligrapher the late hon. Hasan Çelebi, and is qualified to award “ Ijazah “ to deserving students in the Thuluh and Nashk scripts. She also learnt the Diwani and Jali Diwani and Riq’a Scripts from him.
