Islah Present Slay Saturdays Workshop Series

The purpose of the “Slay Saturdays” series is to help members of our community who are returning citizens to set and exceed their individual goals by identifying and bridging knowledge gaps in critical areas such as Job Training/Interview Skills, Technology Training, Mental/Physical Health, Conflict Resolution, Financial Literacy/Entrepreneurship, and Marriage. We hope to help our community members build a foundation that allows them to thrive in the present by learning skills that will enable them to gain stability through employment, secure housing, and a healthy family environment. In so doing, empower them with the confidence and capacity to focus on their futures. “Slay Saturdays” is a six-month workshop series held at Islah LA (2900 Slauson Ave) on the second Saturday of every month.
