ISAC FAFSA Symposium (Draft)

ISAC and the College of DuPage are hosting the 4th annual Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) Symposium on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 from 9:00am-3:30pm. Registration is open from August 3, 2022 through September 2, 2022.

The FAFSA Symposium provides an opportunity for schools to share best practices for supporting students in completing the FAFSA and the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid. This event will provide professionals with the opportunity to strengthen student support around financial aid application completion and highlight financial aid completion efforts across the state.

Topics covered in this year's symposium will address the following themes:

• Collaborating and leveraging partnerships to improve financial aid application completion
• Innovative strategies for increasing financial aid application completion
• Navigating financial aid application completion amidst the COVID-19 pandemic
• Resources to support financial aid application completion
• Targeting support for high-need student populations

There is no cost to attend this event. Check-in will begin at 8:00am and it will be hosted at the College of DuPage, Student Resource Center (SRC) at 425 Fawell Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, including vegetarian options.
