Isabel Hagen is a nationally touring stand-up comedian and classically trained violist who has been featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and was named a New Face of Comedy at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montréal.

Before comedy, Isabel earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in viola performance from Juilliard. As a musician, she has toured with Vampire Weekend and worked with artists including Björk, Ed Sheeran, Max Richter, The National, and Steve Reich.

Isabel is also an accomplished filmmaker. Her debut feature film ON A STRING, which she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in, premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Festival, where it won Best Screenplay in a U.S. Narrative Feature.

Smart, original, and wildly funny, Isabel brings a truly unique voice to standup comedy and is quickly becoming one of the most exciting performers in the country.

Isabel Hagen is also a featured headliner at the 2026 Riot Comedy Festival, taking place April 1–4, 2026 in Houston, TX.
