Is Your Heart at War or at Peace? with Michael Skoler
About this Event
Do you ever feel your daily life is filled with unnecessary conflict, whether at home, at work, or within yourself? It's easy to blame tension on what others say or do, but lasting peace begins with how we choose to see and respond to others. When we shift from seeing people as obstacles to recognizing their inherent dignity, our relationships and our inner world begin to transform.
In this interactive workshop, you'll discover the hidden roots of conflict, explore how your state of consciousness shapes every interaction, and learn practical tools to replace judgment with compassion, reaction with understanding, and inner struggle with lasting peace.
Former NPR journalist and social change leader Michael Skoler will help us see when we unknowingly approach tough situations with a heart at war and how that raises the heat of conflict. We will learn how we can shift our heart to a place of peace that sees the dignity in others and reduces conflict. The session is based on the bestselling conflict resolution book, Anatomy of Peace: Resolving the Heart of Conflict.
