About this Event
Is legal Always Ethical: How Do We Survive the Moral Injury of our Time?
Social workers and mental health professionals are facing a difficult reality: what is legally required in our work does not always feel ethically right. Many clinicians are experiencing moral injury as they navigate systems that can conflict with their values and commitment to care.
Join us for an in-person Law and Ethics workshop that creates space to reflect on these tensions, learn from one another, and explore paths forward. Keynote speaker Alisa OrduΓ±a will introduce non-traditional approaches to understanding and healing moral injury. A panel of practitioners will also share how they have navigated the overwhelming pressures and ethical challenges within todayβs healthcare system.
This training offers 6 Law and Ethics CEUs for licensed practitioners seeking to meet California BBS requirements. Continuing education is provided by a CAMFT-approved provider.
Come earn your CEUs while engaging in a meaningful conversation about how we care for ourselves, our profession, and the communities we serve.
