Michael Gray, the pioneer of Dylan studies, makes a welcome return to The Séamus Ennis Arts Centre stage, to give this new talk with audio & footage:
Bob Dylan is now 84 years old, and still performing-but he became a star way back in the 1960s, and the recently acclaimed biopic 'A Complete Unknown' ends its story of his life in 1965!
Now that we're a quarter of the way through the 21st century, can Dylan be anything but a historical figure for people who are young today?
Michael will confront this challenging question, explore its stimulating complexity and play a robust selection of Dylan's music, including on video.
