Exploring the technology challenge of harnessing data so Artificial Intelligence can provide agriculture with strong productivity gains.
About this Event

The meteoric rise of AI is impacting every industry sector with the potential for significant productivity gains and workplace transformation. The agricultural sector has much to gain from harnessing digital technology, faced as it is with the need to produce more from less in a world increasingly challenged by the impacts of the climate crisis.

Growers often do not have sophisticated data systems and, where they do, they are locked in digital silos. Ros believes this is a solvable technology challenge with the bigger issue building growers’ trust in what AI has to offer. She argues the sector needs new approaches to collaboration and commercialisation.

In this seminar, Ros Harvey, in her role as CEO of Australian AgTech company The Yield, will champion the role of the research sector to unlock the power of AI in agriculture.

Ros will share her successes using data, machine learning and AI to transform food production systems, making them more effective, efficient and, ultimately, profitable.

Join Ros Harvey when she presents, Is Agriculture ready for Artificial Intelligence?
