Irving Park Road Study Open House

The Irving Park Road Study is developing a framework for future land use along a six-mile stretch between California and Overhill avenues in the Irving Park, Portage Park and Dunning community areas.

At the upcoming open house event, attendees will be able to:

• Learn about the key findings from Phase 1 of the study, including existing conditions related to demographics, mobility and safety, land uses and the built environment.
• Gain an understanding of the scope of work for Phase 2.
• Explore the draft framework plan for the corridor and provide feedback on key concepts, including three guiding themes and early ideas regarding locations for neighborhood and mobility hubs, housing infill zones and commercial transition areas.
• Connect with the project team, ask questions, and sign up to stay involved as Phase 2 continues.
