Irish Uilleann Pipes Workshop with Sean McKeon (Intermediate/Advanced)

An intimate master class in uilleann pipes with one of Ireland's finest pipers. Seán grew up in a Dublin household steeped in the tradition, with both parents being accomplished traditional musicians, and by fifteen had amassed multiple Fleadh Ceoil na hÉireann titles. In this session, Seán will draw on his deep grounding in the older piping tradition — shaped by masters like Seamus Ennis and Patsy Touhey — to guide participants through tone, ornamentation, and musical expression. Best suited for intermediate to advanced pipers. Bring your pipes and be ready to play.
