The Irish Theatre Players are delighted to announce the Auditions for this years Panto are here !!!!The Twelve Days of Christmas!

Auditions - Monday 19th August at 7pm and Thursday 22nd 7pm to 9pm
Location / Venue - Downstairs at the Irish Club of WA, 61 Townshend Rd Subiaco.
No need to book just turn up on the evening that suits you best ! Cast announcements after the 22nd.
Performance Dates - December 5,6,7,8,12,13,14 ( matinee and evening performances on the 7,8)
In the enchanting village of Evergreen, the Royal family are planning a grand Festive Ball to bring joy to all the villagers.
To mark this splendid occasion, a giant advent calendar with 12 doors is constructed on the Village Green, with one door to be opened each day until Christmas.
However, the festive spirit is threatened when Wizbad, the wicked wizard, steals the keys to the advent calendar and scatters them across the globe.
Aided by the good Fairy, our characters embark on an exhilarating race against time, traveling to diverse and exciting locations, from South America to Ireland, in their quest to retrieve the missing keys.
Will they manage to collect all the keys and save the festivities in time for Christmas? or will Wizbad ruin Christmas ?!!!!
Join us for auditions and be part of this magical journey filled with music, dance, and festive cheer. We welcome performers of all ages and talents to bring this heart-warming story to life.
Character List
GERTIE GUSSET: Pantomime Dame, an underwear maker.
SUZIE: Gertie’s daughter. ( 18-25)
IZZY: Gertie’s daft sibling the village gardener. ( 18-25)
PRINCE RUPERT: Typical Prince character. (18-25+)
STAMPIT & KLAMPIT: Two council “jobsworths” – typical panto-style comedy twosome. (+18 )
QUEEN or KING: Typical Queen/King character. (40+)
SANTA CLAUS: ( smaller part)
FAIRY QUEEN OF CHRISTMAS: Typical good fairy role – the Queen of Christmas tree fairies.
WIZBAD: Our comical bungling baddie.

Auditions
Auditionees will be asked to perform scenes directly from the script, allowing the casting team to evaluate their natural reading, acting, and interaction abilities.
Please prepare a song that shows off your singing voice and if you are a dancer we will be delighted to meet you !
Emphasis will be placed on how well actors can bring their characters to life spontaneously and work well with other performers.
All cast members are required to be members of the ITP.
Rehearsals will commence September 5th
Rehearsals will be Monday and Thursday evenings at 0700pm any additional days will be announced by the director.
Loads of roles for all ages ! We cant wait to get started !
