The Irish Research Radiation Oncology Group presents the inaugural IRROG Conference, a key event for radiotherapy clinical trial research.
About this Event

The Irish Research Radiation Oncology Group (IRROG) was established in January 2022 uniting all public radiotherapy departments (St.Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network@Beaumont Hospital, St.James’s Hospital and St.Luke’s Hospital Rathgar, Galway University Hospital and Cork University Hospital) and private collaborators (Beacon Hospital & UPMC Bons Secours Cork) in Ireland. IRROG represents all radiotherapy clinical trial research personnel nationally.

The inaugural IRROG Conference will be held in prestigious Trinity College Dublin. The conference is a key industry event with national and international speakers, keynote addresses, sessions regarding IRROG, radiotherapy clinical trials, research stakeholders, patient advocates and key clinical decision leaders.

We are especially delighted to welcome two prestigious international speakers:

Dr. David Palma, MD, PhD, a radiation oncologist and cancer researcher at the London Health Sciences Center in Canada. He holds degrees from Harvard University, the VU University in Amsterdam, Western University, and Queen’s University in Canada .

Professor David Sebag-Montefiore is an academic clinical oncologist at the University of Leeds and an honorary Clinical Oncologist at Leeds Cancer Centre, Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He leads the Leeds Radiotherapy Research Group, located in the Leeds Institute of Medicine at St James’s University Hospital and is a Clinical Director of the Leeds Clinical Trial Research Unit.

Don't miss this opportunity to connect with other clinical trial research personnel and industry leaders. Join presentations by leading researchers and clinicians sharing the latest advances and practices in the field.
