We are glad to present a day-long immersion in the Irish language and culture in the heart of Ottawa!

Total beginner? Cúpla focal? Fluent speaker? Somewhere in between? Come join us for a day of cultural immersion! Language classes in the morning will begin at 9:00am at Routhier Centre (172 Guigues Avenue, Ottawa).

In the afternoon, there will be cultural workshops (limited places in each, priority of choice of workshop will be accorded in the order that participants sign up):

- handwriting in the Uncial script (led in English)

- sash weaving (English & Irish)

- board games (English, Irish & français)

- more TBA

An informal gathering will take place in the evening at Brigid's Well located across the street.

On est ravis de présenter l'événement Lá Gaeilge: la Journée de langue et de culture irlandaise, dans la Basse-Ville d'Ottawa. Peu importe votre niveau de langue, on vous invite à célébrer une expérience immersive. Les classes de langue commencent à 9h00 au Centre Routhier, 172, av. Guigues, Ottawa (ON).

En après-midi, des ateliers culturels auront lieu (le choix d'atelier sera accordé selon l'ordre d'inscription, étant donné les disponibilités limitées dans chaque atelier):

-l'écriture onciale (atelier mené en anglais)

-tissage (anglais et irlandais)

-jeux de société (anglais, français et irlandais)

-encore plus à annoncer

Un 5 à 7 suivra.
