From her fragmented double life growing up in the Bronx and her backpacking escapades around the globe, to back home again where she finds herself caregiving for both her child and her mother—a true tale of adventure, escape, family, guilt, and evolution through perpetual movement. Shana works at Keshet, advancing LGBTQ+ equality in Jewish life and helping build communities where everyone actually feels like they belong. She believes deeply in the power of Jewish storytelling because sometimes the most radical thing we can do is tell the truth out loud.
