Ireland's 91 Memorials & Heroes
On 7 PM Thursday September 17, the Irish Cultural Center of the Mohawk Valley will continue its reflection on 911 with a look at Ireland’s 911 Memorials and Heroes.
It is estimated that of the nearly 3,000 people killed as a result of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks 1,000 were of Irish descent. From a hilltop above Kinsale to a churchyard in the Wicklow Mtns and the woods of Kildare you will hear the stories of three 911 Memorials & the Heroes that inspired them.
