IRC Region - North East of England - Regional Training 2 - Gateshead
About this Event
About the Event
As part of the Inclusive Recovery Region (IRR) initiative, we are pleased to invite partners from across the North-East of England to a Regional Training Event focused on Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) and Community Connectors.
This training builds on the successful ABCD and Community Connectors training previously delivered in Newcastle and aims to strengthen more inclusive, community-led approaches to recovery across the region.
The event will bring together representatives from all 12 Local Authority areas to explore how recovery systems can move beyond service provision alone and strengthen community engagement, participation, and social inclusion. The training provides a practical way of operationalising the work of Inclusive Recovery Cities and Regions by developing partnerships, identifying community assets, and creating opportunities for meaningful community connection.
While this second Regional Training Event will be held in Gateshead at Leam Lane, there is an identical Regional Training Event being delivered at Recovery Connections Cafe in Middlesbrough on the 29th June 10:00-15:00, for those in the southern part of the region. A separate event invite has been created for this.
