Iqa Alsalaam (Rhythm of Peace) | إيقاع السلام By Ghazi & Boom.Diwan

Rhythm of Peace is a collection of original compositions by Kuwaiti composer, guitarist, and vocalist Ghazi Faisal Al-Mulaifi, created in collaboration with percussionist Berke Can Özcan (Turkey), keys player Jesse Boere (Netherlands), and bassist Steven Bedford (UK). Together, they reflect on our shared responsibility in the face of social injustice, weaving diverse sounds and traditions into a sonic space for reflection and connection.

About Boom.Diwan

The Boom is the most important ship in Kuwait. It was used for pearl diving and for merchant trade. It serves as a metaphor for the musical exploration that Boom.Diwan engages in. The music or Diwan is a place where traditional Kuwaiti seafaring music ensemble preserve and pass on traditional Kuwaiti music. It is also a place to welcome guests and exchange between Boom.Diwan and other musicians.
