Local school districts are struggling with a shortage of substitute teachers. The Substitute Teacher Authorization class provides the training needed to prepare for authorization as a Substitute Teacher. The course content will include:
🗸 Ethics
🗸 Classroom Management
🗸 Diversity
🗸 Instructional Strategies
Upon completion of the course and the submission of Educational Examiners requirements, an individual is eligible to be authorized to substitute in a K-12 institution.
Prerequisites:
🗸 Holds an Associate Degree from a regionally accredited institution
🗸 OR 60 semester hours from a regionally accredited institution
🗸 OR completed an approved Paraeducator certification program
🗸 OR holds a Paraeducator certificate
Class meets:
