Join us for the 2026 Iowa Dairy Youth Communications Workshop & Princess Orientation on Thursday, June 4, in Waterloo, Iowa!Hosted by the Iowa Dairy Princess Program, this day-long workshop is designed for high school and college-aged youth who are passionate about dairy and eager to strengthen their communication and promotion skills. All current county and breed dairy princesses, dairy ambassadors, and those interested in running for Iowa Dairy Princess in 2026 are highly encouraged to attend.
Participants will gain valuable insights from industry professionals and take part in hands-on activities to build confidence and sharpen communication skills. Featured speakers include Nicole Johnson, RD, LD, of Hy-Vee, who will discuss dairy’s role in a healthy diet, and Elizabeth Klinge, co-anchor at KWWL, who will lead an interactive session on media interviews.
In addition to educational sessions, attendees will participate in a volunteer activity with local youth at the Phelps Youth Pavilion, highlighting the importance of community engagement.
