Preliminary event details (stay tuned for final details):On April 20th, Ridgecrest’s Over The Hill Track Club will present the 47th annual OTHTC Inyokern 10-Mile Run.
This is a point-to-point road run, starting just west of the intersection of South China Lake Boulevard and Highway 395 (Google "El Paso Hills Brown Road Trailhead"), heading north on old Highway 395 (Brown Road) to finish at the Inyokern Senior Center at the corner of Sunset and Broadway in Inyokern, Ca. Since it is a point to point run, please arrange to be picked up at the finish or be transported back to your vehicle. There may be a limited amount of transportation available via local runners to help you back to your car.
This year’s edition of the run will be slightly different than most years past. The run has historically always been 9.7 miles but an extra .3 will be added on to make it an even 10 miles this year.
Start time is 7 a.m., with signups beginning at 6:00 am. There will be two aid stations on the course, at about miles 4 and 7, with water and light snacks. There will also be refreshments at the finish.
No cost to sign up but donations for the OTHTC will be accepted. Awards for top three finishers in male and female categories.
