Start the new year off with an embodied prayer dedicated to removing obstacles and welcoming the light of the wisdom in your Heart.

Explore the devotional roots of the modern “flow” practice through a rarely taught approach to the twelve “offering” postures of Surya Namaskar (Salutations to the Sun). Each posture is associated with a different deity of light and linked through breath, mantra, visualization. This creates a nourishing ritual invoking the healing power of the inner and outer forms of light.

Gentle yet powerful, we will take this S L O W so that you can find a brand new naturalness and effortless union with body-breath, heart-mind, spirit and nature. This is an accessible, reverential experience of meditation in motion. You will not come away exhausted!.

We will open with invocation, intention setting, centering and gentle warm ups. The sun salutations will be broken down slowly with plenty of attention to healthy and relaxed movement. We will close with 30 minutes or so of nice deep restorative postures for an extended savasana and period of quiet repose in the Heart.
