The Invisible String Junior group is a 6-week programdesigned specifically for children ages 6 and under to
work alongside their parent or caregiver to discover and
nurture the ways they are connected to others.
This group aims to help ease feelings of loneliness or
isolation that may arise from deployment, relocation, and
loss, while also showing parents effective ways to guide
children to make and sustain meaningful connections to
others. Through this program, we model a safe and
supportive environment where children learn valuable
coping skills to help them navigate separation from loved
ones and discover new ways to cultivate personal
connections. We also encourage and strengthen the bond
between the child and their caregiver throughout the
group.
