Invisible Dialogues: Science, Intuition & Abstract Worlds
About this Event
Join Gato Gordo Gallery for the opening reception of Invisible Dialogues, a compelling exhibition featuring the abstract works of Sara Schesser Bartra and Jamir Eduardo Guiza Beltran.
Though their artistic approaches differ, both artists investigate realities that exist beyond direct observation. Sara Schesser, a former molecular biologist, transforms microscopic ecosystems and biological structures into vibrant abstract compositions that reveal the hidden beauty of the natural world. Jamir Guiza, Colombian visual artist and former director of the Museum of Art of Tolima, approaches abstraction through intuition, gesture, and emotional expression, creating atmospheric works that explore perception and consciousness.
Together, their works create a visual conversation between science and instinct, structure and spontaneity, revealing abstraction as a bridge between visible and invisible worlds.
Special Opening Night Feature: Experience a live painting performance by Jamir Guiza as he creates a new work in real time, offering visitors a rare glimpse into his creative process.
Enjoy an evening of contemporary art, conversation, and refreshments while exploring this unique dialogue between two distinct artistic voices.
