About this Event
To help us navigate the rich landscape (and identify the potential risks and rewards involved), we’ve asked three of our favorite big picture thinkers and professional investors to act as guides. It is with much excitement, therefore, that we are able to announce the very first:
Investing in the End of the World Virtual Summit, featuring Rick Rule, Eric Fry and Byron King…
The exclusive event is scheduled for January 8, between 2-4pm Eastern Time, during which our esteemed guest speakers will take Notes readers on a deep dive into the opportunities of investing in Argentina’s long awaited renaissance.
Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email. We will send you the Zoom link to join on the day of the event.
Notes Members will receive a complete audio-video recording of the event, to watch anytime, along with a full transcript (including information on any companies, sectors and investment opportunities identified by our guest speakers).
About Our Speakers:
Rick Rule: Founder, Rule Investment Media
Rick began his career 50 years ago in 1974 in the securities business and has been involved in it ever since. He is known for his expertise in many resource sectors, including agriculture, alternative energy, forestry, oil and gas, mining, and water. In 1990, Rick founded the business now known as Sprott US Holdings, merging it into Sprott Inc. (SII) in 2011. He retired from Sprott Inc. in 2021 and resigned from the board of directors in 2023. Rick is celebrating his retirement by co-founding a new bank, Battle Bank. Rick is also actively engaged in private placement markets, through originating and participating in hundreds of debt and equity transactions.
Eric Fry: Editor of Fry's Investment Report
Eric J. Fry has been a specialist in international equities for nearly two decades. He was a professional portfolio manager for more than 10 years, specializing in international investment strategies and short-selling. Following his success in professional money management, Eric joined the Wall Street-based publishing operations of James Grant, editor of the prestigious Grant’s Interest Rate Observer. Working alongside Grant, Eric produced Grant’s International and Apogee Research, research products geared for professional money managers. In 2016, Eric won the Portfolios with Purpose competition — Wall Street’s most prestigious investment competition — beating 650 of the biggest names in finance with a 12-month return of 150%.
Byron King: Editor, Strategic Intelligence
Byron King graduated from Harvard University with a degree in geological sciences. He then went to work as a geologist for Gulf Oil Exploration and Production. Next came a tour as a flight officer for the U.S. Navy. At one point, he was an aide to the United States Chief of Naval Operations. After leaving active duty, Byron began practicing law. In 2002, he started corresponding with the staff of The Daily Reckoning. His work was featured so frequently he was often called an “unpaid contributor.” When he officially joined the staff, he began criss-crossing the globe in search of the world’s best mining investment opportunities.
