At the occasion of the International Women’s Day the Chamber organizes a conference on the 7th of March with several female entrepreneurs
About this Event

Each year in March, we celebrate the International Women’s Day. This year, the official theme will be “Invest in women: Accelerate progress”. At this occasion, the Chamber will organize a conference on the 7th of March where we give the floor to several female entrepreneurs to learn about their journey, including possible constraints that women might experience when creating their own companies.

We will welcome the following 4 speakers on the stage:

Gina Périer, founder and CEO of Lapee.
The Revolutionary Urinal, Lapee is a urinal for women and GNC who squat to pee. It allows to pee quickly, safely and hygienically at events and festivals. The company has been launched in Denmark in 2017 by Gina, a French entrepreneur established in Denmark.

Petra Kaukua · CEO & co-founder of Eat Grim
Eat Grim is on a mission to fix our broken food system by fundamentally changing the way people eat. Eat Grim is a platform for ugly and surplus fruits and vegetables. They source the produce directly from farms and bring it back into the food system through a food box subscription that they sell to private consumers, making it easy to eat more sustainably - with exciting business expansion in the pipeline.

Cecilie Engvang Lund – Co-founder & COO at Tempty Foods
Tempty Foods is a Danish food innovation company with a unique next-generation alternative to tofu and meat, based on mycoprotein and made from fungi, herbs and vegetables, with no e-numbers. The start-up has roots in the Danish Technical University and has won several prizes including the Startup of the Year 2023 (by Danish Vegan Association) and the European Food Innovation competition Ecotrophelia 2021. Their first product TEMPTY is available in canteens, restaurants and caterings throughout Denmark.
