Is it your goal to stick a headstand? To balance on your hands or your forearms? Do want to build an inversion practice? I am introducing a brand new series of workshops based around inversions. Suitable whether you are new to inversions or want to explore more in a fun, group setting.
There are many good reasons to introduce inversions to your yoga practice: they help build strength and confidence, they boost mood, and reduce anxiety & stress.
Many inversion poses require significant core and upper body strength to hold yourself up. Regularly practicing inversions can help strengthen these muscles, which can improve your overall balance and stability, not just on the yoga mat but also in everyday activities.
Stress Reduction and Mental Well-being: The act of inverting can be calming and promote relaxation. Inversions may help to trigger the release of endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects, and can also help to reduce stress and anxiety.
Inversions have the affect of increasing oxygen delivery to your brain, which can leave you feeling more energized and alert. Inversions can also stimulate the lymphatic system, which helps remove waste products from your body, and can contribute to a feeling of lightness and well-being.
