Grab your wigs, beads, baubles, caftans, and mumus for a fabulous downtown takeover! Stanleys are welcome too!
Check-in starts at 5:30 PM at 1 Courthouse Square, where you'll receive your Downtown Passport, packed with exclusive drink, dining, and shopping specials. Collect stamps at participating businesses for your chance to win a gift basket filled with goodies from our amazing downtown merchants!
🎶 As you roam the Inverness Downtown Entertainment District, enjoy the smooth sounds of DJ Dale spinning yacht rock classics in the cul-de-sac - or catch live music at several of our downtown hotspots.

What is a Roper Romp? A Roper Romp is a bar crawl or costume event where participants dress up as Mrs. Helen Roper from the 1970s sitcom Three's Company, complete with her signature curly red wig, flamboyant caftans, and large jewelry. These events, inspired by the late Audra Lindley's character and her iconic style, began in New Orleans and have since become a popular cultural phenomenon held in cities across the U.S. and Canada.
