Introducing Aurélien Vaurillon, who we are delighted to say is coming to play at our next jazz club meeting on Sunday 28th September. Aure is a jazz guitarist and teacher who discovered Django Reinhardt at the age of 17. He studied at CIM, a prestigious jazz school in Paris, and has performed with many international musicians. He now lives on the west coast (past Fort William) and shares his passion teaching students worldwide.
Aure will be joined by local lad Alistair Chisholm who is the driving force behind The Hot Club of Inverness playing gypsy jazz regularly in McGregor's in town. Steven Curley and Neil Sharkey will make up this acoustic quartet.
