We cordially invite all local residents and community members to embark on a journey of ecological discovery as we delve into the world of invasive species, with a particular focus on European buckthorn and garlic mustard, and explore the myriad benefits that native pollinator plants offer to our environment. There are two events to join (rain or shine):
1. Friday, May 10 from 3-5 pm. Meet in the church parking lot. We will be removing invasive species: garlic mustard and European Buckhorn. Please bring gloves and closed toe shoes. The garlic mustard is great for kids as its easy to pull out.
2. Friday, May 24 from 4-6 pm. We will be planting more that 30 native shrubs as well as removing more invasive species. Please bring gloves and closed toe shoes.
