Dating apps suck. So do invasive species. Dump both and have some fun. Invasive plant pull for singles! Group facilitation, tools, and snacks provided. Adults of all ages, genders, and sexualities welcome. Join us in Airport Heights (meet in the parking lot by the hockey rink in Tikishla Park) to remember how to meet people in person, foster environmental and community restoration, and remove invasive species!
While there are numerous invasive plants in Alaska, these events focus on plants that are easy to identify and where hand-pulling is an effective measure: European Bird Cherry (Prunus padus) and Chokecherry (Prunus virginiana).
