About this Event
Coastal cities have a collective problem, with the reality and impacts of climate change becoming harder and harder to ignore. While the science and data are there, many communities are actively investing and developing along vulnerable shores rather than proactively planning for the future.
.
Boston is no exception. Join us for a screening of Inundation District, a documentary exploring the implications of the city’s decision to ignore the threats posed by climate change and spend billions of dollars on building a new waterfront district — on landfill, at sea level. We’ll hear from film director + Pulitzer Prize winning journalist David Abel on his experience and from local organizations on their work as it relates to New York City’s shore.
