ABOUT THIS CLASS:

With gentle guidance and a whole lot of self-love, we'll take time to turn inward as we enjoy 2.5 hours of free-spirited, intuitive art making!

This isn't your typical Paint Night style class~ this beginner-friendly class is all about self-expression, exploration, and personal discovery.

We'll each create a large, vibrant butterfly on a 16" x 20" stretched canvas. The butterfly outline will be pre-traced so we can focus on exploring colour, pattern, texture, symbolism, and emotion using a variety of fun art materials.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Express, explore, and manifest through intuitive art making!

Explore your personal meaning of a butterfuly- transformation, growth, resilience...

Enjoy access to a variety of expressive art materials (acrylic paint, neon paint, oil pastel, markers, gel pens, glitter glue, collage words, stencils, and more).

This is NOT a step-by-step class. You will receive gentle guidance via a live demonstration, handouts, tips, and inspiration images. Feel free to borrow ideas to spark your creativity!

Connect with others in a welcoming, relaxing, and creative setting.

*The outline of the butterfly will be pre-traced.

*All art materials are included, except for aprons. Please wear art-friendly clothes!

*Ticket fee is for the Paint Night activity only. Venue purchases like beverages and snacks are sold seperately and will be available throughout the evening.

*While not necessary, you are welcome to bring your own inspiration imagery and quotes.

*Instruction is adult-focused. Teens 15+ yrs. are welcome to attend with an adult.

*NO DROP-INS PLEASE. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. SPOTS ARE LIMITED.

Ticket Fees are *NON-REFUNDABLE and must be paid in full upon registration. Refunds will NOT be issued for non-attendance (including non-attendance due to illness) nor for late arrivals.

*If the Studio cancels a Public Paint Day/Night you will be issued a full refund.

​If you are unable to attend your Public Paint Day/Night you are welcome to gift your ticket to someone else. Alternatively, you are welcome to request a Paint Day/Night credit (valued at the same cost as the missed Public Paint Day/Night) so long as you provide a minimum of 14 day's notice via email. Paint Day/Night credit will NOT be issued when less than 14 day's notice is given.
