Intuitive Dance Meditation

Class Overview:

Join us for Intuitive Dance Meditation, a 90-minute in-person class designed to help you reconnect with your body, release emotional and physical tension, and ground your energy through breath, movement, and music. The first hour is a guided somatic movement journey — no dance experience necessary.

The final 30 minutes is reserved for community reflection and connection — a time to tune in, share, and begin building the village we all need.

You’re invited to bring your full self — exactly as you are — and take part in this gentle, healing, and empowering practice.

🕊️ This class is offered on a donation basis as part of a community effort to help cover the cost of the space and keep Intuitive Dance Meditation accessible to all. Your contribution supports the continued offering of this practice in a nurturing environment. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket at least 48 hours before the event so we may open the space for someone on the waitlist. Refunds will not be issued after this time.

What to Bring:

• Water
• A light snack for community sharing (optional)
• Comfortable clothing to move in
• A journal & pen (optional)
• A yoga mat or blanket

Class Duration:90 minutes total

• 60 minutes of guided movement including self regulation and co-regulation tools
• 30 minutes of community reflection & connection

About the Guide:Hi, I’m Tasheena Medina Chavez — a mama, performer, trauma-informed movement educator, and graduate student in Yoga Studies at Loyola Marymount University. With over 18 years of experience teaching dance and yoga, I created Intuitive Dance Meditation as a practice to support embodiment, nervous system healing, and authentic self-expression. I’m honored to hold this space with and for you.
