We're excited to offer a series of workshops designed to support mental health and well-being through the transformative power of intuitive painting. These sessions are specifically tailored for migrants and refugees from Ukraine, as well as Central and Eastern Europe. Together, we’ll create a safe and supportive environment for self-expression, healing, and emotional growth.
What is Intuitive Painting?
Intuitive painting is a therapeutic practice that helps you connect with your inner emotions. It’s less about creating art and more about embracing the present moment and releasing the pressure of judgement or perfection. By allowing yourself to explore and express freely, this process can help you release stress, process emotions, and foster a deeper connection with yourself.
Why Should You Join?
This workshop is designed to offer more than just creative expression—it aims to improve your mental health and emotional well-being. Through art, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on your experiences, build resilience, and find a sense of peace and belonging in a new environment.
Benefits of Our Workshops:
Boost Mental Health: Engaging in creative activities has been proven to reduce anxiety and improve emotional well-being.
Strengthen Social Connections: Meet others facing similar challenges and form supportive relationships.
Feel a Sense of Belonging: Experience a shared sense of community and understanding through group activities.
Healing Through Creativity: Art provides a therapeutic outlet for processing complex emotions and experiences related to displacement and resettlement.
No prior experience is required—just bring an open heart and a willingness to explore this intuitive journey with us.
Funded by Birmingham City Council under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme, this workshop offers a nurturing space to find healing, empowerment, and connection. We look forward to welcoming you!
Kindly note: We ask that children do not attend, as this workshop is not suitable for those under the age of 17, and we do not provide childcare services. Thank you for your understanding.
