About this Event
Join us for a training provided by the Collaborative Family Law Group of Northeast Florida, also known as Jacksonville Collaborative Divorce for a Introductory Interdisciplinary Training.
This is a two (2) day in-person training which will provide new professionals with the foundations of the Collaborative Process and will provide a refresher for seasoned Collaborative Practitioners. The Collaborative Process in an out-of-court option where a team of professionals assist the parties and resolving their disputes.
This course is designed for attorneys, mental health professionals/facilitators, financial professionals and affiliated professionals interested in the process. This training is meant to satisfy the basic 14 hour Collaborative Process Training.
Friday April 24, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
14 hours of CLE will be applied for. Lunch provided on both days.
TRAINING INCLUDES:
- Lectures with local practioners with interactive activities.
- Step-by-step process of Collaborative Divorce from consultation to completion
- Excerpts from the Collaborative Practice in Action recordings
TOPICS COVERED:
- Established a Team
- The roles of Collaborative Attorneys, Facilitators (Mental Health Neutrals), Financial Neutrals and other affiliated parties, including Child Specialist, Real Estate Agents and Mortgage Brokers, Neutral Appraisers/Evaluators,
- Setting goals and priorities
- Interest Based Negotiations and Problem Solving
- Anticipating and mitigating common challenges among the team: triangulating, mirroring clients, toe-stepping, roles and tasks, teamwork and coordination.
