Introduction to Weaving Workshop
Master the ancient art of weaving in this hands on weaving workshop led by textile artist and educator Rosa Wharton. In this engaging two hour session, you will be provided with a loom and weaving material to practice the foundations of weaving. Learn how to set your loom, practice four basic weaves and be guided through creating your own small woven piece. You will explore texture, colour, and pattern while learning simple techniques that can be continued at home.
Whether you are completely new to weaving or looking to reconnect with textile practices, this workshop offers a relaxed space to experiment, learn, and create something unique.
This welcoming session is open to all levels ages 18+.
Please note: All materials will be provided.
