This training will cover and explain what Dissociative Identity Disorder is, Trauma vs. Complex Trauma, DID and Hollywood, Treating DID, DBT Review, IFS Review, and finally working with a DID system. This training is being presented by Anne-Marie Cummings, LCSW. This training offers 6 CEUs.
Our understanding of DID has developed and changed over the last few years. During this training we will discuss how trauma plays a role in the development of DID; while also discussing the differences between trauma and complex trauma. After discussing what DID is, we will discuss the treatment of DID based on evidence based treatments and research.
