About this Event
Introduction to the Wheel of Consent
What happens when we slow down enough to truly notice what we want—and what we don’t?
The Wheel of Consent®, created by Dr. Betty Martin, is a simple yet profound framework that transforms the way we understand giving, receiving, boundaries, and choice.
This two-hour introductory workshop is a guided exploration into the practice of consent—not as a dry agreement, but as an embodied, playful, and deeply connecting experience.
Together, we’ll step into a container where you can:
✨ Learn the foundational principles of the Wheel of Consent✨ Practice simple touch-based (clothed, non-sexual) exercises to clarify the dynamics of giving and receiving✨ Explore your authentic “yes,” “no,” and “maybe” in real time✨ Notice how patterns of people-pleasing, over-giving, or collapsing show up in your body✨ Build more safety, sovereignty, and choice in your intimate, relational, and everyday interactions
This workshop is for you if:
- You want more clarity and confidence in your boundaries
- You’re curious about cultivating deeper intimacy and trust with yourself and others
- You tend to give more than you receive—or feel unsure how to ask for what you want
- You’re a coach, therapist, or facilitator looking to integrate consent practices into your work
- You simply want to experience more freedom and aliveness in your relationships
No prior experience necessary. All genders, sexual orientations, and relationship structures are welcome.
All practices are fully clothed, non-sexual, and trauma-informed.
