This demo-focused workshop will provide students with the opportunity of honing their stone setting skills as instructor Kyle Barrett leads them through stone setting techniques such as tube setting and flush setting for faceted stones.This workshop will focus on technical stone setting techniques and using the right tools for the job.
Participants should have some prior metalsmithing experience (soldering etc) as knowing the basic techniques and tools of jewellery making will allow you to move faster through each setting.
This workshop is not intended to focus on jewellery making but to help you become proficient at stone setting.
Workshop is $440 + tax which includes an $85 material kit fee. Workshop is held in our Barrie studio.
