This 15-hour Course will introduce Sound Therapy and Himalayan Singing Bowls. Through personal discovery, students will learn about these unique instruments and their vast therapeutic possibilities! With a combination of lecture, meditation, direct technique practice, and sacred ceremony, all students will have the opportunity to dive deep into the mystical properties of Himalayan Singing Bowls.Learn about the myriad uses for these hand-made instruments, from daily life to professional applications. Students get hands-on, direct experience with beautiful sacred instruments from Nepal.
Students will receive a Certificate upon completion of the class, and will have an opportunity to purchase bowls. Taught by professional Sound Therapist Mokeph Wildflower, who trained directly with Geoffrey Torkington of The Elephant Bowl.

Time:
Friday May 17: 6:00pm-7:30pm **optional Soundbath**
Saturday May 18: 9:00am - 6:30pm
Sunday May 19: 9:00am - 6:00pm
There will be a 1-hour lunch break each day.
Tuition:
$350 per individual
$300 per person if you sign up with a friend
Full tuition due by May 10th.
Deposit:
$150 due by May 3rd.
Sign-ups after the 3rd require full tuition payment, due by May 10th.

The class will be held at the beautiful HeartSpace Yurt located on 8th Avenue, just east of Freya.
Through this 2-day intensive course, you will learn about:
•The historical usage of singing bowls
•How to play the bowls – both “striking” and “singing”
•The self-massage technique
•The special effectiveness of “matching pairs”
•Mallet types and how they affect sound frequencies
•The many possible experiences by recipients
•Using bowls to affect the human electromagnetic field
•Creating a soothing session for a friend or client

What to bring:
•yoga mat or pad (the floor is concrete)
•pillow and blanket for meditations and comfort
•notebook and pen/pencil
•sack lunch and water (students can also leave for lunch)
•additional items for maximum personal comfort
