Curious about SoulCollage® but not sure where to start? This introductory workshop is your chance to try it for yourself in a warm, welcoming space — no art skills required, and no prior experience necessary.
What is SoulCollage®?:
SoulCollage® is a simple, intuitive process, founded by Seena B. Frost, where you create your own deck of collage cards using images that call to you. There's no "right" way to do it — each card holds its own unique voice or energy, and through choosing, cutting, and gluing your images, and later reflecting on each card by giving it a voice, you begin to uncover more about the many facets of who you are. It's playful, personal, and often surprisingly insightful — a creative doorway into self-discovery.
What We'll Do Together:
Begin with a cuppa and a snack, and settle into the space
A gentle discussion introducing what SoulCollage® is and how it works
Make your first card
Explore SoulCollage® techniques, including cutting and gluing
Make a second card
Learn how to engage with your cards using the "I am one who…" (IAOW) statements — a simple, powerful way to let each card speak
Materials:
All provided (SoulCollage Cards x3, plastic pocket x3, frame, scissors, glue, craft knife, brayer, images, magazines, hot & cold drinks & snacks) bring any images that feels meaningful to you.
