Join us at the Hollywood Art and Culture Center for an inspiring introduction to Sogetsu Ikebana, the modern Japanese art of floral design. In this fun and relaxed hands-on workshop, participants will explore the beauty of balance, line, shape, and space while creating striking floral arrangements that reflect personal creativity and self-expression.
Whether you are new to Ikebana or simply curious about Japanese floral design, this beginner-friendly class offers a welcoming opportunity to slow down, create, and experience the meditative art of arranging flowers. All supplies are included.
Artist Bio
Michelle Rogers has been a student and teacher of Sogetsu Ikebana for more than 20 years. An internationally certified instructor, she teaches both individual students pursuing certification and larger group workshops. Michelle is passionate about sharing the art of Ikebana and inspiring creativity in others. She encourages students to experience floral arranging as a meditative practice rooted in presence, balance, and mindfulness.
