About this Event
How do people and animals stay protected from wind, rain, and cold? In this hands on outdoor program, we will work together to learn the basics of shelter building using natural materials. Participants will explore what makes a good shelter, and work together using problem solving skills to build a simple lean-to shelter using sticks and branches. Along the way, we’ll talk about how animals create shelters in the wild and why location, structure, and cooperation matter.
