This workshop is suitable for anyone who feels called to explore the ancient practice that is shamanism and gain lots of information and practical techniques to take home with them. The workshops are informative and interactive and you will get the opportunity to take part in various shamanic activities during the day. We will also be creating a safe and sacred container as we drop into our Rapéh plant medicine ceremony. Carry on reading to learn more about Rapéh and Sananga.

WHO IS YOUR HOST?
Rachael is a trained shamanic healer, Icaro song healing practitioner, shamanic energy healer, reiki energy healer, Cacaoista, medicine woman, workshop host, and ceremonial space holder. Rachael has worked for many years running healing retreats for transformation and deep healing, and she also hosts various other wellness and healing events.
WHAT IS RAPÉH?
Rapéh is a sacred shamanic snuff that consists of many Amazonian medicinal plants, leaves, flowers and seeds ground up into a fine powder and is usually mixed with a Mapacho tobacco base.
All of the plants used in the Rapéh medicine are powerful allies and teachers and have been carefully selected. This means that each unique type of Rapéh medicine holds a different vibrational quality and will have different effects on your energy field.
The Rapéh medicine that we work with is made by the indigenous people of the Yawanawa tribe, located between Bolivia and Peru. The Yawanawa tribe believe that sacred Rapéh arose in order to allow people to travel without their physical bodies, to connect with their spirit, to open up the peripheral vision and to clear the physical body of any trapped energies. The Rapéh that they blend is made using Mapacho tobacco, ashes of the sacred Tsunu tree and a mix of other medicinal plants. The Tsunu tree is used by Shamans to facilitate spiritual healing and is said to be the tree of dreams.
Rapéh is a non psychoactive plant medicine, so you will not be going on a psychedelic journey with this plant. It is however, one of the most powerful healing plant spirits. The effects of the medicine are incredible.
Rapéh helps with:

- Connecting you back to source and to spirit

WHAT IS SANANGA?
Sananga is an eye drop that is made from the roots and bark of the Tabernaemontana undulata shrub a “milkwood” species in the family Apocynaceae, and comes directly from the Amazonian tribe peoples. This sacred and potent medicine is used for healing physical and spiritual ailments, by clearing the mind of distractive energies and allowing for a complete new way of perceiving and focusing.
The name Sananga comes from the Huni Kuin dialect of the Kaxinawa tribe.
The spirit of the plant looks for energy patterns in your system that are out of balance.
Sananga helps with:
Clearing the energy field or treating ‘panemas’ (lower energies stored in the energetic body)
Opening up the inner vision
Opening the pineal gland
Releasing toxic emotions in the body
Opening the heart chakra
Expanding connection to the spiritual realms
Sananga is also very good for the eyes physically and can help with cataracts, glaucoma and astigmatism. It is also anti fungal and antioxidant.
