About this Event
This module provides information on the role that residential experiences play in Scouting.
Introduction to Residential Experiences is for Section Leaders and Assistant Section Leaders working towards their Wood Badge, and for those who may support residential experiences for young people as part of their role in Scouting
You’ll learn about:
- how to plan, organise and administrate residential experiences, and what skills your team should have to run them
- the Nights Away Permit Scheme, and how residential experiences help develop young people
Note: This module does not give the attendees a Nights Away Permit
