Session Information
You will be introduced to the fundamentals of Python, a popular, versatile language known for its simple syntax. Additionally, you will get a first look at "pandas," a powerful tool used to organize and query data.
Audience Level: Beginner
This session is designed for absolute beginners with no prior programming experience.
Advance requirements/set up:
You will need a laptop and a Google account to use Colab https://colab.google/
Intended Learning Outcomes
- Understand what a programming language is.
- Gain the skills to write and run simple Python code.
- Learn how to use “notebooks” for your coding tasks.
- How to identify and fix errors in your programs.
- Begin using pandas to perform basic data tasks.
