Introduction to papier maché with Melanie

Start making a papier maché light art piece during this intoduction session, and finish it later. Papier maché pieces take a while to make. You may finish your piece any time during open studio hours, but be prepared to let the glue and paint dry overnight or a few days.

During open studio hours you may create your own pieces, or work with Melanie on the fire sculpture. All the pieces created at the studio will be exhibited in the storefront window until the day of the festival.

OPEN STUDIO hours (after the intro session), Monday to Friday, 1 - 5

Pick up your artworks on Saturday, Dec 21, at the Corktown Park Winter Solstice Festival Welcome Station by 5PM to show them off during the evening, and then take them home.
